“Another Fascist Attempt to Destroy the Party” A photo on p. 1 shows the police forced disrobing of the Black Panthers in Philadelphia. A double page spread describes “The ‘Attacks on the Philadelphia Offices Brought Forth the Staccato of Revolutionary Guns and New Cries of Death to the Fascist Pigs!”
The front page shows that the police ordered the Black Panther group in Philadelphia to strip. The caption under a photo of the Panther headquarters in Philadelphia states: “All rights supposedly guaranted [sic] by the constitution of the United States were just blatantly violated.” The article gives an step-by-step account of the attack. It ends with the declaration: “Let it be known and understood here and now that we are aware of our situation, WE ARE ARMED AND UNAFRAID, AND WE’LL CONTINUE TO FIGHT TO BE FREE OR TO DIE TRYING TO GAIN OUR LIBERATION! DEATH TO THE FASCIT PIGS.” It is signed “Lil Masai”
Another article states that Point Four of the Panther’s says “We want decent shelter for human beings…” and the article and photo include the horror of a child bit by a rat in her apartment home.
