Detroit riot photo of burnt-out buildings

A b/w photo showing a completely burnt out area of buildings–no roofs, no windows, nothing inside. The image was published in a Spanish language newspaper. (Foto AP) ”

The English language text states:  “Only the shells remain” “The shells of what were apartment houses and business establishments are all that remain after fires set by rioters in Detroit yesterday were finally extinguished. Rioters hampered firemen who tried to fight many blazed. Damage was estimated into the millions.”
