“How to Stage a School Carnival” by Albert V. Jensen

The Preface reads: “This booklet is respectfully submitted to the teachers and others who organize Carnivals for schools and similar organizations. so far as known this is the first attempt to publish a book on this subject exclusively. Constructive criticisms and suggestions will always be welcome. This book is written by a teacher who has had several years experience in organizing school Carnivals; also several years on Chautauqua which have been of considerable benefit in organizing entertainments. He is also indebted to the many teachers who have offered valuable suggestions. It is the hope of the author that this booklet may be of help to the busy teacher and organizer on whose shcoulders falls the task of directing large-scale entertainments. Albert V. Jensen.
